Breast Feeding Week -Awareness Camp

Excel Medical College for Naturopathy and Yoga, Conducted a one day workshop during the “World Breast Feeding Week” for pregnant and breast feeding mothers at Excel Medical campus  in association with Surabhi Foundation, Komarapalayam on 06/08/2022.The chief guests were Mrs.Mahalakshmi, Founder, Surabhi foundation and Mrs.Maheswari, Principal ,Excel Nursing college. Dr.Vibhas, Principal, EMCNY gave the presidential address and Dr.Muthukrishnan,gave the public an awareness talk on the “Importance of breast feeding and breast milk serves as natural vaccine” to the public and it was followed by free consultation, Naturopathy & yoga treatments, Natural diet distribution and Diet display for the lactating mothers and to prevent anemia in pregnanacy. Around 50 lactating mothers and pregnant women were educated in this workshop and learnt the antenatal yoga practice.
