World Breast Feeding Week Awareness Programme

EMCNY hospital  organized a world breast feeding week in association with  Vaagai sudi and puvidham part level society at Komarapalyam for the public.  Dr. Bharathi , MD DGO,Senior Medical officer and  Mr. Murugesan Sub inspector of police Komarapalyam were the chief guests of the programme.Around 250 public were given awareness on importance of breast feeding and  health benefits on children in preventing illness.Dr. Muthu Krishnan, Senior medical officer and Dr. Monisha, Lecturer and Medical officer organized and conducted the programme. A mass awareness rally was also organized with 100 BNYS students and around 200 women of self help group at Komarapalyam.
