Research is the Major driving force for every developed educational institution in India. Excel recognizes the importance of research and provides various opportunities for the students and staff. Dr. Raghavendra Rao, Director, Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN) inaugurated the research department of Excel Naturopathy and Yoga on Feb 2^nd 2021. Our Hon. Chairman Prof. Dr. AK Natesan presided over the function and gave his insights and guidance for the students.

Our Principal Dr. K. Vibhas presented the objectives and activities of the Research department for the academic year. He encouraged the faculty and students to focus on outcome based activities, by presenting single research paper a year. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Muthu Subramanian listed out the various opportunities provided by the institute and carrier options for the students in the field of research. Dr. Parveen Kousar, Senior Medical officer presented the vote of thanks. She also stressed that Research activities provide scope for faculty members to develop their professional skills.
