World Breast Feeding Wek

The World Breast feeding week” awareness program was conducted by Excel Nursing College on 7^th August 2024 at Komarapalayam GH. The program was started at 11.30 am organized by Mrs.Bagyam.G (Asst. Prof) & Mrs.Reena.D (Nursing Tutor), Excel Nursing College. Welcome address delievered by Ms.Lavanya III Year B.SC (N). The chief guest was Dr.Bharathi (M.O)  Dr.Arun (M.O), Dr.Gayathiri, DGO & Mrs.Menaka Nursing Superintendent, Komarapalayam GH on Aug 6^th 2024. The rangoli competition was conducted by Komarapalayam GH and Rotary Club. 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd prizes won by Excel Nursing College in various competition prizes were distributed by the chief guest. The students created the awareness based on theme by enacting skit with “Closing the gap”. Breast feeding support for all” and also gave the Health Education regarding Breast feeding. The programme successfully completed at 12.30pm. Around 20 postnatal mothers were benefited in this program.
