World Breast Feeding Week 02.08.2023
World Breast Feeding week awareness program was conducted by Excel Nursing College on 2nd August 2023 at Kallankattuvalasu PHC. The program started at 11.00 pm lead by Prof.P.Beulah Vice Principal, Excel Nursing College. Welcome address delivered by Ms.V.Vijayalakshmi III Year B.SC Nursing. The chief guest was Dr.Senthamarai, Dr.Rathinam Medical Officer Kallankattuvalasu PHC. The students created the awareness by enacting Two Skits with concept of “Enabling breast Feeding making a difference for working parents” which the theme of World Breast Feeding Week – 2023. They also displayed the food for enhance breast milk secretion to the Antenatal & Postnatal mothers. The healthy nutrition cooked snacks (Channa) provided to the mothers. The programme successfully completed at 12.15 pm around 20 mothers were benefited in this programme.
