National New Born Week Awarness Programme
On behalf of National New Born Week is celebrated every year from 15 to 21 November. The theme of this week is “SAFETY, QUALITY & NURTURING CARE – EVERY NEW BORN’S BIRTH RIGHT” 18/11/2022 Friday, New Born Week Awareness Programmes conducted in Tiruchengodu Government Hospital & Komarapalayam Government Hospital. The Programmes was organized by Excel Nursing College under the supervisions of Dr.Sathya (Pediatrician), Mrs.VasanthaMani (Nursing Superindent), Mrs.Shanthamani (Nursing Superintend) from Tiruchengodu GH & Dr.Dharmaraj (Pediatrician), Mrs.Usharani (Nursing Superindent), Mrs.Shanthi (Nursing Superintent) from Komarapalayam GH 2nd B.Sc Nursing students were participated the following events such as Skit, Chart Works, Food Exhibition. In that programme various aspect health education was gave to postnatal mother like New Born Care, importance of Breast Milk, Breast Feeding position and diet pattern of Postnatal mother, do & don’t after delivery of new born. Around 40 mothers and primary care provider were benefited from this programme.
