NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY

The National Deworming Day Program was organized on 9th Feb 2026 by Excel Nursing College in collaboration with Komarapalayam Government Hospital. The program commenced with a welcome address delivered by Mrs.Bakiyam, Assistant Professor, Excel Nursing College. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, Dr.Bharathi (Medical Officer), Mrs. Menaka, and Mrs.Gowri (Nursing Superintendent). Dr.Bharathi delivered a special address emphasizing the importance of deworming in promoting the child health. This was followed by a health education sessions conducted for patients, mothers, and children. The sessions were effectively equipped with role play by V Semester and DGNM II year Nursing Student. The event concluded with a Vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Priya.P B.SC(N), Sem V Student The program was successfully carried out with active participation and positive feedback from the attendees.
