Deworming Day Report – 2025
The Deworming Day Program was organized on 11th August 2025 in collaboration with Komarapalayam Government Hospital at the Rotary Club Room, Komarapalayam GH. The program commenced with a welcome address delivered by Mrs. G. Vinotha, Associate Professor, Excel Nursing College. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, namely Dr. Arun (Anaesthetist and Assistant Medical Officer), Dr. Abinaya (MBBS), Mrs. Menaka, and Mrs. Gowri (Nursing Superintendent). Dr.Arun delivered a special address emphasizing the importance of deworming in promoting community health. This was followed by a pledge ceremony and health education sessions conducted for patients, mothers, and children. The sessions were effectively presented using flip charts by Mr. Enbaraj, II Year, IV Semester Nursing Students. As part of the program, Albendazole tablets were distributed to the beneficiaries to aid in the prevention and control of worm infestations. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Madhan Kumar, Nursing Tutor, ENC. The program was successfully carried out with active participation and positive feedback from the attendees.
