Blood Donation Camp 20.06.2024

A Blood Donation Camp was held at Excel Nursing College, Komarapalayam, starting at 10:00 am on June 20, 2024. The event was jointly organized by Excel Nursing College and Elanthakuttai PHC. Dr. T. Jayadeepa, Principal, Excel Nursing College, led the camp, in which Prof.Rajalakshmi R, Vice principal, Mrs.Geetha C, Asso.Professor and Mrs.Vasanthapriya, Asso.Professor and 10 student volunteersof Excel Nursing College involved in organizing the camp. Dr. Dhivya, Block Medical Officer from Elanthakuttai division, graced the event as the Chief Guest.Mr. Manoharan, Block Health Supervisor, along with Mr. Boopathi and Mr. Karthik, Health Inspector of Pallakkapalayam, supported the Blood Donation Camp. Approximately 120 students from various medical disciplines of Excel group institutions (Siddha, Homeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga) expressed their readiness to donate blood. Medical teams from Tiruchengode actively participated, assisting Excel Nursing College students in verifying the eligibility of donors through medical tests including weight measurement and checking hemoglobin levels.Around 60 students donated blood and received appreciation certificates. The blood donation camp was successfully completed at 03.00pm.
