World Breast Feeding Week Celebration

Excel Nursing College in collaboration with Komarapalayam Government Hospital organizes an awareness programme on “World Breast Feeding Week celebration” on 05.08.2025 & 06.08.2025 in Komarapalayam Government Hospital. The programme was started by 10.00 am and lead by Dr.Bharathi, Medical Officer, Komarapalayam GH. Welcome address delivered by Ms. Lavanya, VI year B.Sc Nursing student followed by a skit played by VI year students “Importance of Breast Feeding”.The I year students created awareness by GROUP HEALTH EDUCATION with chart works and live models.  Dr.Bharathi Medical Officer, explained thebenefits of breast feeding  for both mother and baby. Finally, the ENC students have concluded the theme of World Breast Feeding Week “Priorities Breast Feeding: Create Sustainable Support System” information taught to publics. Ms.Reena Maria Sophia and Mr. Logeswaran, Nursing tutor accompanied and guided the student to participate in various programmes. Around 30 post-natal mothers were benefited in this Event. The programme successfully completed at 11.30 am.On 06.08.2025 competitions like Rangoli and Poem writing conducted and winners were honored by certificates and prizes.
