National Save Girl Child Day
National Save Girl Child day awareness programme was conducted by Excel Nursing College on 23 January 2024, at Elanthakuttai Primary Health Center. The programme was started at 10.30 am with welcome address delivered by Miss.K.Kuzhali (B.Sc Nursing 2nd year). The chief guest was Dr.Mydeen Bevi, Medical Officer, Elanthakuttai PHC and senior staff Nurse Mrs.Shalini.P Elanthakuttai PHC has felicitated the programme . The students created the awareness by enacting Roleplay with the concept of “SAVE THE GIRL CHILD”. They also explained Do’s and Don’t while handling the Girl Child through the Puppet Show & VilluPattu to the public. The programme successfully completed at 12.00 pm. Around 50 people were benefited through this program. Finally Vote of thanks was proposed by Miss.Parameshwari.R.
