World Immunization And Newborn Care Week
World Immunization and Newborn care week awareness programme was conducted by Excel Nursing College on 28 November 2023, at Elanthakuttai Primary Health Center. The programme was started at 10.30 am with welcome address delivered by Miss.V.Vijayalakshmi (Bsc Nursing 3rd year). The chief guest was Dr.Moitheen bevi medical officer Elanthakuttai PHC and senior staff Nures Mrs.Babitha Elanthakuttai PHC. The students created the awareness by enacting Roleplay with the concept PROPER IMMUNIZATION AND EFFECTIVE NEWBORN CARE. They also explain Do and Don’t while handling the Newborn information through the puppet show to the public. The programme successfully completed at 12.30 pm around 40 people including antenatal and postnatal mothers were benefited in this program.
