Starting 27th July 2025, Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre began distributing Siddha medicinal decoctions at the Front Gate OPD to support patients with respiratory illnesses and diabetes. The decoctions distributed were Aadathodai Kudineer for respiratory ailments and Aavarai Kudineer for diabetes management.<\/p>\n

The program was inaugurated by our respected Principal, Prof.Dr.M.Maignanamoorthy,M.D(S), alongside Dr. T. Saravanan, Principal of Excel Homoeopathy Medical College, and Dr. K. Ayyappan, Principal of Excel Physiotherapy College & Research Centre.<\/p>\n

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully conducted on 19th July 2025 at the Excel Medical Campus Library, Komarapalayam, Namakkal. The event was a joint initiative by Excel Medical Campus, Ladies Circle India \u2013 ELC 78, and the NSS Unit of Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre.<\/p>\n

The camp aimed to promote the spirit of service and encourage voluntary blood donation among students and staff. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who came forward in large numbers to donate blood and contribute to this noble cause.<\/p>\n

The collaborative effort of the organizing teams ensured the smooth execution of the camp, maintaining all medical and safety protocols. The collected blood will go a long way in saving lives and supporting patients in need.<\/p>\n

This health initiative aimed to provide effective oral health check-ups and raise awareness about dental hygiene among students and staff. The camp successfully benefited 182 students, offering timely dental assessments and guidance to promote better oral care.<\/p>\n

      The program commenced with an inaugural address by Prof.Dr.M.Maignanamoorthy,MD(S), Principal, who emphasized the significance of pharmacovigilance in healthcare.<\/p>\n

      Dr. Venkatachalam delivered a comprehensive presentation on the fundamentals of pharmacovigilance, including adverse drug reaction reporting, signal detection, and risk management.<\/p>\n

      Dr. Pratheep shared his expertise on adverse drug reaction monitoring, highlighting the importance of timely reporting and effective communication.<\/p>\n

      The program featured interactive sessions, including a question-and-answer forum, where participants engaged with the resource persons and clarified their doubts.<\/p>\n
