The Fresher\u2019s Day Celebration, titled \u201cThe Tejas Arrival\u201d, was conducted with great enthusiasm on 26th July 2025 at the AYUSH Auditorium, Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre. This celebration is a cherished tradition that fosters strong bonds between senior and junior students, welcoming new relationships and shared memories.<\/p>\n

In a heartfelt show of unity and camaraderie, the MAGIZHAM batch (2023\u20132024) extended a warm and spirited welcome to the newest members of the Excel Siddha family\u2014the GNAZHAL batch (2024\u20132025).<\/p>\n

The event began with an inspiring welcome address by our respected Principal, Prof.Dr.M.Maignanamoorthy,M.D(S), followed by the felicitation of the chief guest, Prof Dr.T.Saravanan, Principal of Excel Homoeopathy Medical College. His presence and kind words of encouragement added grace and significance to the occasion.<\/p>\n

The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances by the students, showcasing their talents and creativity. Their outstanding efforts lit up the stage and created joyful memories for all, making the day a remarkably memorable event.<\/p>\n

This day commemorates the birth and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, one of India\u2019s most revered physicians and a pioneer in advancing medical science and public health.<\/p>\n

The celebration this year aligned with the national theme, \u201cBehind the Mask: Who Heals the Healers?\u201d, which highlights the importance of recognizing and supporting the mental and emotional well-being of doctors, who dedicate their lives to healing others often at the expense of their own health.<\/p>\n

The event featured warm addresses from our respected Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignanamoorthy,M.D(S), who acknowledged the unwavering dedication of the medical fraternity. Faculty members, students, and staff gathered to pay tribute to the doctors\u2019 invaluable service and reflect on the vital role they play in society.<\/p>\n

Various activities were organized that day, including awareness talks, recognition of outstanding contributions by faculty doctors, and interactive sessions emphasizing the need for self-care and emotional resilience among healthcare workers.<\/p>\n

The National Doctors Day celebration at our college also served to inspire the next generation of medical professionals to uphold the highest standards of compassion, integrity, and excellence in their future practice.<\/p>\n

The objective of the competition is to prepare and present a variety of dishes without using fire. The participants are required to use alternative methods to fireless cooking methods.<\/p>\n

The dishes are judged on various parameters such as taste, presentation, creativity, and innovation. The participants are also evaluated on their ability to work in a team, communication skills, and time management.<\/p>\n

The winners of the competition are awarded prizes by Our Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana moorthy, MD (s).<\/p>\n
