The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to medicinal plants and strengthen students\u2019 understanding through experiential learning.During the visit, students explored <strong>more than 200 medicinal plant species<\/strong>, a medicinal plant nursery, and a collection of dried crude drugs. The students gained valuable knowledge about the identification, authentication, cultivation, collection, processing, and medicinal importance of various plants.An informative session was conducted by <strong>Dr. Radha, Scientist-II and In-charge<\/strong>, who explained the significance of medicinal plants and emphasized the importance of their proper identification, conservation, and sustainable utilization.The field visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications. It enhanced their observational skills, enriched their knowledge of Pharmacognosy, and strengthened their understanding of the role of medicinal plants in pharmaceutical
