Medical University, Chennai<\/strong>. The conference aimed to explore the intersection of traditional healing systems\u2014particularly Yoga and Naturopathy\u2014with modern digital advancements in healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>In the current landscape, where lifestyle diseases are on the rise, the relevance of time-tested, drugless therapies rooted in the body\u2019s self-healing capacity has never been more crucial. This event provided a vital platform for academicians, researchers, practitioners, and innovators to engage in meaningful dialogue on how ancient wellness traditions can be effectively integrated with cutting-edge technology for holistic, preventive, and therapeutic healthcare solutions.[\/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][tm_heading custom_google_font=&#8221;&#8221;]HIGHLIGHTS[\/tm_heading][tm_heading tag=&#8221;h4&#8243; custom_google_font=&#8221;&#8221;]DAY 1 \u2013 16th APRIL, 2025[\/tm_heading][vc_column_text]On Day 1 of the conference, Excel Medical College of Naturopathy and Yoga played a pivotal role by <em>leading the Scientific Committee<\/em> and organizing a vibrant <em>Poster Presentation Competition<\/em> that witnessed enthusiastic participation from <em>256 individuals<\/em>. Participants actively engaged in presenting their research and insights, showcasing a broad spectrum of expertise in the fields of Naturopathy and Yoga. Ten of our talented students and two esteemed faculty members delivered outstanding performances, actively participating in both oral and poster presentations.[\/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][tm_gallery columns=&#8221;xs:1;sm:2;md:3;lg:3&#8243; column_gutter=&#8221;xs:20;sm:20;md:30;lg:30&#8243; row_gutter=&#8221;xs:20;sm:20;md:30;lg:30&#8243; images=&#8221;9185,9186,9187,9188,9189&#8243;][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][vc_column_text]In addition to their leadership role, we also featured an informative and <em>interactive stall<\/em> aimed at raising awareness about <em>infertility<\/em>. The stall explored <em>ancient diagnostic techniques<\/em> rooted in traditional practices as pulse diagnosis, focusing on identifying underlying causes and promoting natural prevention and healing methods. This initiative drew significant attention and contributed meaningfully to the conference\u2019s theme of integrating traditional wisdom with modern healthcare innovation.[\/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][tm_gallery columns=&#8221;xs:1;sm:2;md:3;lg:3&#8243; column_gutter=&#8221;xs:20;sm:20;md:30;lg:30&#8243; row_gutter=&#8221;xs:20;sm:20;md:30;lg:30&#8243; images=&#8221;9190,9191,9192,9193,9194&#8243;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][tm_heading tag=&#8221;h4&#8243; custom_google_font=&#8221;&#8221;]DAY 2 \u2013 17th APRIL, 2025[\/tm_heading][vc_column_text]Day 2 of the International Conference was marked by significant events and esteemed dignitary participation. The day was graced by the presence of <em>Thiru. Ma. Subramanian, Honourable Minister for Health &amp; Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Pro Chancellor of the University<\/em>, who served as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by <em>Prof. Dr. K. Narayanasamy, Vice-Chancellor<\/em>, with a special address delivered by <em>Dr. K. Sivasangeetha, Registrar (FAC)<\/em>. The day began with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the Kuthuvilakku. Dr. Sivasangeetha welcomed the gathering, and the Vice-Chancellor delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of integrating naturopathy with digital innovations. The Chief Guest was honoured and <em>officially released the conference souvenir<\/em>, followed by his keynote address highlighting the state&#8217;s commitment to supporting traditional systems of medicine. <em>Dr. R. Malathi, Principal cum Medical Superintendent, Excel Medical College for Naturopathy and Yoga<\/em> along with all other principals of participating colleges were invited to the dais and honoured with mementos as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the fields of naturopathy and yoga, and their support in making the conference a grand success. <em>Dr. G. Bharathkumar, Conference Coordinator<\/em>, concluded the inaugural session with a heartfelt vote of thanks.[\/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][tm_gallery columns=&#8221;xs:1;sm:2;md:3;lg:3&#8243; column_gutter=&#8221;xs:20;sm:20;md:30;lg:30&#8243; row_gutter=&#8221;xs:20;sm:20;md:30;lg:30&#8243; images=&#8221;9195,9196,9199&#8243;][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;sm:10;md:20;lg:20&#8243;][vc_column_text]As part of the day\u2019s highlights, the Vice-Chancellor visited the conference stalls and presented awards in the valedictory function to the winners of the oral and poster presentations. Notably, <em>Dr. Monisha S. N, Lecturer, Dept. of Yoga<\/em>, secured first place in the oral presentation competition for her study on the efficacy of naturopathy and yoga in managing morbidity and preventing infertility. During the valedictory function, students from various naturopathy colleges presented a group yoga formation, with an outstanding performance by <em>Ms. Rawlaah, a second-year, 2022 Batch student<\/em>. The event was graced by the presence of <em>Dr. Raghavendra Rao M, Director of the Central Council for Research in Yoga &amp; Naturopathy (CCRYN)<\/em>; <em>Dr. N.K. Manjunath Sharma, Vice Chancellor of SVYASA University<\/em>; <em>Prof. Dr. Prabhakaran, Executive Director of the Centre for Chronic Disease Control, New Delhi<\/em>; and <em>Dr. Sunil Paudel, Chairman and Founder of Spark International Health Resort, Kathmandu, Nepal<\/em>.
