Community medicine is one of the subjects of the Final year BHMS curriculum. Introduction to community medicine is done during the 3rd Year BHMS. Students, during their Third Year are expected to complete 30 hours of Theory classes and 15 hours of Practical classesto be followed in their final year with 100 hours of theory classes and 100 hours of practical, as part of their curriculum. Practical classes include field visits to Integrated Diary production and preservation units like Aavin, Water Purification Plant like Water supply &amp; Sewage Board and Sewage Disposal &amp; Treatment Plant.
