The department expanded its academic offerings with the introduction of Postgraduate Programs in M.E. Structural Engineering (2013\u201314<\/strong>)<\/strong> and M.E. Environmental Engineering (2014\u201315)<\/strong>,<\/strong> each initially admitting 18 students <\/strong>and the intake was increased to 30 students<\/strong> from the academic year 2022\u201323<\/strong>.<\/strong>In recognition of its academic excellence and commitment to quality education, the department has been awarded NBA Accreditation<\/strong> for a period of three years, up to 2027<\/strong>.<\/strong> The department is supported by a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty<\/strong>,<\/strong> along with a committed group of technical and administrative staff<\/strong>.<\/strong> Together, they create an enriching academic environment focused on teaching, research, and professional consultancy. The academic mission of the department is to develop competent civil engineers<\/strong> equipped with a strong foundation in engineering principles<\/strong>, <\/strong>problem-solving skills<\/strong>,<\/strong> and design capabilities<\/strong>.<\/strong> Graduates are prepared for successful professional careers<\/strong> or further academic pursuits. To bridge the gap between academics and industry, the department offers value-added courses<\/strong> such as, AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Primavera, STAAD Pro. <\/strong>These courses enhance the technical proficiency and employability<\/strong> of students. In addition to its academic responsibilities, the department actively engages in research activities<\/strong> and offers consultancy services<\/strong> to various organizations in the field of Civil Engineering.
