R. Sowmiya, Assistant Professor, Department of AI&amp;DS, welcomed the gathering warmly.\u00a0 Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, Principal, Excel College for Commerce and Science, spoke about the importance of mental wellbeing and the collective role in preventing suicide.\u00a0 Dr. T. Shankar, chief\u00a0 IQAC, emphasized the significance of awareness and support, highlighting mental health\u2019s impact on academic performance and quality of\u00a0 life.\u00a0 Dr. K. Munusamy, Programme Head, School of Computer Science, honoured the dignitaries. Dr. K. Manjula, Programme Head, School of Arts and Science, introduced the chief guests with details of their contributions.\u00a0 Dr.Vetrivel presented an insightful session through the \u201cVoices of Hope\u201d program, focusing on the power of human connection in suicide prevention.\u00a0 Dr. R. Vanathi shared a comprehensive talk on Emotional Intelligence, discussing how emotions affect our lives and relationships and how self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation help individuals achieve personal and professional success.\u00a0 JCI K.
